Born and raised in California, and no stranger to relocation, Shannon has lived in Southern California, Mexico, Northern California, and Oregon, moving to Connecticut in 2002. With road trips calling, Shannon has traveled to 33 of our 50 states plus Washington DC. She understands the difficulties and challenges of moving—whether it’s across town or across the country. Finding the right community and a place to call home is hard. “I moved 17 times in 16 years as a child and have learned so much along the way,” she says. “As an adult, I have completed three corporate relocations in three different ways, in three different states. I can help you navigate through the challenges with a relocation, from finding a spot for you to call home to a place to service your car.”
Shannon lives in Westport with her family and enjoys winter weekends teaching 7-14-year-olds how to ski at Mount Snow, Vermont. She is passionate about suitability and learning how technology for the built environment can integrate within our lives. She is also dedicated to raising awareness of food insecurity in higher education. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) with a minor in Studio Arts. She was honored with the 2015 Mitchell N. Pappas Memorial Prize for Outstanding Achievement and the 2016 Outstanding Staff from Norwalk Community College.
