A native New Yorker with over 10 years of experience NYC real estate, Scottie Cabrera blends his comprehensive market knowledge and wide network of connections to provide his clients with a competitive advantage. With $20M in sales achieved to date, the success of his approach to business speaks for itself.
Scottie’s clients appreciate his attentiveness and negotiation skills, as well as his connections to attorneys, contractors, and designers. From first-time homeowners to savvy investors, he has helped a range of buyers and sellers with transactions of all types. As a property owner and real estate investor himself, he is able to offer thoughtful advice to clients on how to get the most out of their investments.
Prior to real estate, Scottie worked as a NYC union carpenter, helping to build and maintain some of the city’s most iconic buildings, including Freedom Tower, the United Nations headquarters, and the Empire State Building. The skills and knowledge he gleaned from this experience now work to the benefit of his clients as they navigate renovations and inspections.
Born and raised in the Bronx, Scottie graduated from SUNY Empire State College with a Bachelor of Science in Business and a focus on entrepreneurship. He attributes much of his business skills to his school and industry mentors, with whom he can often be found strategizing new ventures. He currently operates a short-term rental business on the side through AirBnB.
When he isn’t educating his clients about the real estate market, Scottie spends his time volunteering and giving back to the community. An impassioned philanthropist and advocate for autism awareness, he regularly participates in fundraisers for the annual Autism Speaks Walk. Scottie also serves on the board of directors for a nonprofit educational organization. He is an avid music and arts enthusiast.
