"A person's home is the most important place of all," says Debra Hoffman, a widely respected veteran of the industry with over 26 years of experience. Known for her loyalty and the honest, ethical approach she brings to every client interaction, Debra is noted among colleagues and clients alike for offering people-centric service that puts individuals and their families first. "Working with someone regarding their most personal and often most expensive possession—their home—is truly a calling for me. Your home is a loved member of your family and I treat it as such at all times. I will always put the needs of you and your family above everything else. This is in addition to making sure I get you the highest price possible as a seller."
Debra’s philosophy has developed not only out of her time selling real estate, but also from her background as a trust and estate paralegal and as a private school board member (similar to co-op boards). In both of these fields she worked closely with clients as if they were a family member, making sure they always received the best possible treatment. Friends and family members do not hesitate to work with her as they know everything discussed is strictly confidential. She meticulously pre-screens buyers when a first offer on a home is made and will not submit any offers until she is sure their finances are in order. Debra is detailed about the cooperative board package preparation and condominium and townhouse sale requirements.
Estate apartments are a particular expertise of hers, as she is adept at handling delicate emotional situations and guiding families through that often-difficult sales process.
During her many years as a top producer at The Corcoran Group and Town Residential, Debra won multiple awards for her marketing skills and is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Club. A die-hard Mets fan, when she is not out with clients, you can find Debra at Citi Field or spinning at Cyclebar, singing with her choir, or volunteering at her synagogue. Debra is also a longtime supporter and active member of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
