Shaazma Husain has always been passionate about real estate. Originally from Pakistan, Shaazma graduated with a comprehensive bachelor’s degree in design. For a decade, she worked successfully as an interior designer creating beautiful spaces for her clients. After moving to New York, the city of her dreams, in 2013, Shaazma and turned her focus to real estate, building on her innate ability to connect with people of varied backgrounds. Shaazma is an astute listener, a hard worker, and multi-lingual—speaking Urdu, Hindi, and Bengali. She also understands the importance of integrity in forging and sustaining relationships. Unsurprisingly, real estate clients across New York’s diverse neighborhoods have confidently engaged Shaazma to sell, purchase, and lease their ideal homes locally. Outside of work, Shaazma is seriously engaged in several non-profits, particularly OPEN ( the Overseas Pakistani Entrepreneurship Network), as it allows her to share and celebrate so many of New York’s wonderful attributes with people of similar backgrounds. She also enjoys cooking, music, the arts, and exploring the city with friends and family. Shaazma resides on the Upper West Side with her husband and children.
