Judy Bond brings a unique blend of real estate experience to Brown Harris Stevens. In 1989 she started her real estate career in San Francisco where she sold houses and apartments in the exclusive neighborhoods of Nob Hill, Pacific Heights, and Russian Hill. Working for a well-known firm specializing in high-end properties, she was honored as “Rookie of the Year” her first year. Since 1992 Ms. Bond has worked in residential sales in New York City and sells comfortably in all the neighborhoods of Manhattan, particularly the Upper East and West Sides. Judy brings excellent communication skills to her work in real estate, having earned both a bachelors and masters degree in English in Illinois and California. She taught secondary English in Beverly Hills where verbal communication was a key focus of her teaching. This experience has provided her with the communication skills to guide her clients through the sometimes perplexing process of buying and selling real estate. In California she was responsible for writing contracts and organizing due diligence as attorneys are not used as part of the transaction process. Ms. Bond currently lives in the East Seventies where she owns her apartment and is the mother of two daughters, one of whom works downtown in the financial district. An accomplished amateur pianist and cellist, she has always been actively involved in the cultural life of the cities where she has lived, particularly those in New York and Los Angeles. In Los Angeles she was a docent at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, a member of the Junior League and a fundraiser for the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Here in New York she is a member of several museums and a loyal subscriber to the New York Philharmonic. Ms. Bond takes pride in knowing and enjoying all the unique and fascinating neighborhoods the city has to offer, whether it is rollerblading through Central Park or attending La Boheme at the Met or enjoying brunch at Bubby's in Tribeca.
