Melissa Hill is Director of Communications for Brown Harris Stevens, LLC, one of the oldest and largest luxury residential real estate brokerages, and the only full-service firm in New York City. A seasoned public relations professional with extensive luxury real estate experience, Melissa is responsible for promoting the Brown Harris Stevens brand through strategic media relations and internal communications campaigns.
Melissa handles press requests for all divisions including Residential Sales, Property Management Services, Appraisals and Consulting Services, Healthcare Real Estate, Commercial Services, and Relocation Services. She reports directly to Terra Holdings Senior Vice President of Research and Communications Greg Heym, and works closely with the company's offices located throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Hamptons and Palm Beach, Florida.
Prior to joining Brown Harris Stevens, Melissa worked on award-winning marketing campaigns as Director of Public Relations at Pace Advertising/WPP in New York City, a leading full-service agency specializing in luxury real estate. Her scope of responsibilities spanned account management, media relations, business development and strategic planning for several Fortune 500 residential real estate developers. Melissa's professional background also includes experience as a senior Public Relations Administrator in the Corporate Affairs and Press Office at Sotheby's, one of the world's largest auction, appraisal and financial services firms. Melissa earned a bachelor's degree in Art History and History from the University of California, Los Angeles.
